The apricot originates from Northern China. Today it is grown in many countries with warmer climates. The main varieties in Italy include: „Tyrinthos“, „Reale d'Imola“, „Antonio Errani“, „Perla“, „Cecona“, „Bella d'Imola“, „Goldrich“, „Monaco Bello“, „San Canestre“. We buy our apricots mainly in Italy, and other nearby growing areas.

Bananas thrive around the Equator. Variety names such as "Cavendish" and "Robusta", "Gros Michel" or "Valery" are not so significant since on the market it is the trade names of the different fruit selling companies which are known.

Bilberry
In the main producing countries, the USA and Canada, both wild and grown varieties are found. Vaccinium myrtillus is the botanical name of wild bilberry, the variety which we mostly process.

The blackberry originates from the forests of Eurasia and North America. It mostly grows wild but has been cultivated in the Northern hemisphere in Europe, Asia, North and South America.

Blackcurrants are common in Central and Eastern Europe as well as in a numeral Asian countries. In the world, they are grown in countries of the temperate area.

Camu – Camu
Camu Camu is the fruit with the highest vitamin C content. The dark red berries grow on a shrub and contain up to 50% pure vitamin C. The taste is very sour and therefore Camu Camu is available only as juice and concentrate.

Chokeberry
Chokeberry or "apple berry" originates from Eastern North America. It is almost unknown in West, North and South Europe, but has a long tradition in Eastern Europe.

Elderberry
We only process cultivated elderberries of the Haschberg variety from Styria in Austria. Elderberries contain a whole series of substances such as Anthocyanins (Cyanidin glucoside, Cyanidin sambubiosid), sugar, oils, minerals, vitamins. Furthermore, elderberry has many appreciated and diverse curing properties.

Fig
Its exact origin is still uncertain but it probably comes from Asia Minor. In ancient times, the Greeks spread the fig tree throughout the Mediterranean, which is still the core of the world market of figs.

Grapefruit
It originates from South East Asia, where it has retained its importance as citrus fruit. The main varieties are „White Marsh“ or „Marsh Seedless“, available on the market all year round. Other famous varieties are „Marsh Pink“, „Yarden Red“, „Sunrise“, „Ruby Red“, „Star Ruby“ or „Red Blush“.

Guanabana
Guanabanas grow on small trees of about 5 m high in the Amazon region. The fruit has a very pleasing, slightly acid, creamy taste. The fruit flesh is white and contains black seeds.
